Ten Commandments Curriculum

$100.00

A 12-week series for youth on the Ten Commandments.

The Ten Commandments are not a bunch of rules where God is wagging his finger, demanding people to “do better” or “try harder.” He gave them to Israel after he had already rescued them from slavery in Egypt in order to make them a witness to the nations about the only God who truly saves. This gospel-centered series will call your students to obey the Lord because He is both worthy and trustworthy.

The YPT Curriculum is built around three branches of discipleship: Christian Doctrine, Christian Spirituality, and Christian Living. The Ten Commandants series is part of the Christian Discipleship branch.

Series Outline:

  1. Obeying the God who Saves

  2. First Commandment: One God

  3. Second Commandment: Fleeing Idolatry

  4. Third Commandment: God’s Name is Worthy of Honor

  5. Fourth Commandment: A Life of Rest

  6. Fifth Commandment: Parents are Worthy of Honor

  7. Sixth Commandment: Murder Begins in the Heart

  8. Seventh Commandment: Faithful Love
