Bonus Episode: Introducing Prepared to Answer

This bonus episode is from the Prepared to Answer podcast and introduces their new initiative, "PTA GO." This is the program through which they're launching like-minded ministries (like YPT) so they can become sustainable full-time ministries that disciple teenagers into a biblical worldview. Listen to this episode to hear more about Prepared to Answer, Truth Snack, and YPT's partnership with these incredible ministries.

There are two podcasts from PTA I want to encourage you to download:

  • Introducing Youth Pastor Theologian. In this podcast, Scott and Shawn from Prepared to Answer introduce Youth Pastor Theologian to their audience, and we discuss the full background behind YPT and how this partnership came to be.

  • When God Changes Your Plans: the PTA GO Story. This is the same podcast as this bonus episode, but from their podcast feed. In it, they introduce their listeners to this new initiative (PTA GO) where they are helping like-minded ministries become full-time and sustainable ministries.

Learn more about PTA GO.
If you've wondered why YPT isn't just incorporating as a 501(c)3 organization, then listen to this episode and you'll hear why. This is an incredibly generous way for YPT to learn what it takes to establish a healthy foundation to sustain a long-term ministry to youth workers.

Learn more about YPT’s launch as a full-time ministry.
Up until very recently, everything about YPT has been done on a volunteer basis. Even now, Mike only works very part-time to manage this ministry since most of his time is currently given to his family or youth ministry or fundraising to be able to lead YPT full-time beginning in September.

Please pray for Mike, his family, and for YPT during this season. In addition to prayer, there are three ways you can help YPT during this fundraising season.

  1. Give. Monthly support is essential to this becoming a ministry that can produce resources that supports youth workers to pursue theological depth. Without proper funding our ministry will remain quite limited.

  2. Introductions. If you know individuals who already support similar ministries, or who are particularly passionate about reaching the next generations and worldview formation, please introduce them to Youth Pastor Theologian as a ministry worth supporting.

  3. Church Partnerships. We are seeking to build a network of church partners. Would your church join us through partnership (usually through their missions committee) in order to fulfill the Great Commission among the next generation, around the world. YPT serves youth workers across America and around the world. In the past month, I’ve heard from youth workers in Singapore, Cuba, Mexico, Germany, Ireland, and Scotland. Giving to YPT is an investment in global youth workers who are discipling the next generation.
