ep.118: How Mike Prepares a Sermon

Mike and John couldn't line up their schedules, so Mike is flying solo! In this episode, he brings you behind the pulpit and walks you through his process of developing a sermon. This isn't intended as THE way you ought to do it... it's simply the process that works for Mike. Hopefully this example on a recent sermon from Romans 8 will encourage you on multiple fronts.

For more training on how to study the Bible and how to develop then deliver a message, check out YPT's Teaching Workshop. This is a daylong training session that brings Mike and John to your church to equip your youth volunteers... just imagine getting your whole team on the same page as they open God's Word with students. Even better, co-host the workshop with other youth ministries in your area, so there are multiple churches participating, which will fuel new opportunities for partnership and collaboration. Visit the YPT site to learn more about how to host a workshop at your church.
